Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and save another life. Thank you in advance for your generous donation that will help fund our mission.
SCKR is a 100% volunteer based non-profit charity. This means we rely on the generosity of donors and adopters to care for medical needs such as snap testing (FELV), upper respiratory vaccinations (FVRCP), spay / neuter, first vet checks, and the daily expenses of hard and soft food, litter, baby formula, toys, cleaning supplies, etc.
We currently pay for the majority of these expenses out of our own pockets. Because we invest a significant amount of money and only recoup a portion of that investment through adoption fees, any donation amount is so helpful.
We also accept donations of unopened cat and kitten food, kitten formula, new toys, litter, and general cleaning supplies. Our shelter can always use soft smaller blankets, kitchen towels, baby wipes, and other comfort items for the kitties.
Your donations are tax deductible as allowed by state and federal laws. If you have questions, please consult your tax professional for more information.
You can also Zelle donations to: admin@secondchancekittenrescue.org
If you have issues using the above mentioned email to send Zelle, it is because our bank hasn't subscribed to "business" Zelle yet, so we periodically have issues receiving funds. If it fails, please text Lisa at 480-382-4578. We also accept PayPal at caesar400@msn.com
Paypal is currently set up under caesar400@msn.com which is affiliated with our rescue. We will be working on setting up a separate PayPal for the rescue when time permits.

SCKR only takes in kittens 3 months of age or younger, that are already socialized. Meaning, you must be able to hold and engage with them. Their size, weight & teeth will tell us their age, so please be honest. We will exam the kitten before accepting it into our rescue, so honesty is the best policy. As much as we wish we could be, we are not a rehabilitation center for feral cats. We are a small in-home rescue ran by two people with full time jobs & limited time.
