Second Chance Kitten Rescue works with other organizations to save today's, and prevent tomorrow's, abused, neglected and homeless animals.
Because we are an in-home rescue, and we both have full time jobs and no volunteers, we are unable to trap mam cats and babies, but we do have a loaner trap program you can utilize.
One last thing! Always remember, to encourage others to help a furry friend find their forever home today, by adopting!
Adopt, don't shop. 🐾

With 40+ fur babies at any given moment, we do not have enough time in our days to also offer dedicated care for the feral cat population issue in Arizona. We DO NOT accept feral kittens who have not been tamed. Due to being an in-home rescue with limited spare timed, this is something we would love to do, but are unable to do at this time. If you catch them, feed them, provide love and teach them to love humans, we will accept babies under approximately 3 months of age, provided we have the space. If we don't, we can try helping you find placement. If they are so young that the fear of humans isn't really present yet, and you are able to hold them, please call us so we can be of assistance.

Hello everyone and welcome to our 2025 fundraiser. A lot of positive things happened for us in 2024 and we hope 2025 is even better!
Our biggest goal for 2025 is to gain the support of local companies and the community that will help us achieve a big dream for our babies. We are hoping to finally expand our little catio into a much larger one that all four separate groups of kitties can enjoy.
We are working on a design that would incorporate babies, teenagers, special needs and adults. We would like them all to safely enjoy the outside in seperate enclosures, all the while allowing them access back into the house and back into their separate rooms. We will be posting our design ideas soon!
If you are able, please visit the link below and donate to our Go Fund Me to help this dream come true. We also accept Zelle at admin@secondchancekittenrescue.org + PayPal at caesar400@msn.com

Unfortunately, we can not post our exact address, because people dump animals on our doorstep. As much as we would love to help every living creature, we do not have the resources or facility to do so. We provide our address once a meet & greet appointment is made, however the map shows our general vicinity.
If you have a kitten in need of help, please call, text and/or email and we will do our best to assist you.

SCKR only takes in kittens 3 months of age or younger, that are already socialized. Meaning, you must be able to hold and engage with them. Their size, weight & teeth will tell us their age, so please be honest. We will exam the kitten before accepting it into our rescue, so honesty is the best policy. As much as we wish we could be, we are not a rehabilitation center for feral cats. We are a small in-home rescue ran by two people with full time jobs & limited time.
