I am just as sweet as my best friend, Onyx, but I think I am the most handsome kitty and walk with a bit of a swagger to show off.
I would really love to find a home with my best friend, where we can get all the attention and treats we deserve. Please don't let Onyx's condition scare you because my foster moms have gotten him all checked out, and he is doing great. We are worth it!!
I will be neutered after I am 5-6 months old (it's healthier for me at this age), but don't worry, SCKR pays for it, and my Veterinarian, Dr. Wood at The Scaredy Cat Hospital, will take good care of me for that procedure.
The kittens at SCKR learn to play well with others, build confidence, and engage with humans in our In-home environment. They get fresh air in the outdoor catio, roam the house when supervised, and have their very own bedroom filled with lots of stimulating things to do. The kittens at SCKR receive tons of pampering & love before going to their furever homes, setting them up to be the PURRfect kitten. The care we offer produces more confident & better socialized kittens that are also pre-exposed to both big & small canines.
My adoption fee is $275.00

This issue is not visible; it was discovered when I experienced an allergic reaction to the anesthesia during my neutering procedure. An X-ray taken by the Humane Society revealed my Pectus Excavatum, and I was initially deemed unadoptable. Fortunately, I was saved from euthanasia by Second Chance Kitten Rescue!
I truly am the sweetest boy, and I am always up for a long snuggle that comes with purrs and nose nibbles. I have the most amazing personality and love to play with all sorts of toys and cuddle my best buddy.
My best friend in the whole wide world is Moby! If you are looking for two kittens who will cuddle with you, are very interactive and loving, and have wonderful temperaments, please consider giving us a chance!

I have a beautiful black coat and piercing orange-yellow eyes. As a kitten, I enjoy playing, running, jumping, and snoozing whenever I want, while feeling loved and safe and not worrying about sleeping with one eye open. I do pretty well on my own, but like most kittens, I enjoy having friends to groom, interact with, or snuggle up to.

I am a bit shy, so it may take me some time to warm up to you. But once I do, I become the best snuggler at night and love receiving attention and treats. Food is a big motivator for me! I just need someone willing to be patient with me & give me a chance.
I am a grey spotted tabby, and my foster moms say I have a soft coat, similar to that of a chinchilla. I enjoy hanging out with the teenage cats and sleeping in the spare room with them. This way, I can go out to the catio, feel the fresh air, and look at the stars.
All of the younger babies go fast because they are smaller and cuter, but I am gorgeous with my coat and eyes and have the cutest meouw. With me, you know what you are getting when it comes to personality because it has already developed.
I was born around 8/29/24. I am spayed and would like to have a forever family I can call my own. I prefer a quieter house and would like another kitten or young cat to be my best friend.
Please give me a chance. My foster mom has worked so hard to build my confidence, and I promise that with patience and lots of love, I can be your best friend and part of the family.

Second Chance Kitten Rescue came to my rescue & saved me from euthanasia, giving me a Second Chance at life. My issue will not get worse, nor will it get better. I periodically stretch my front legs far out and move my head a little oddly, but it makes me even cuter than I already am! I am sensitive to loud noises, so a busy loud home will not be ideal for me, but I run, jump, play, eat, drink and have fun like a normal kitten.
I was born 12/12/2024. I will be available after I reach 3 months of age. My best friend is PZee!

My older foster brother, Onyx, has it too, and he says it is bad and he is doing all the normal things kittens do, so that makes me feel better and special.
I have really cool stripes and spots with a light beige undercoat. I look like a wildcat and can play like one too. I love cuddling humans and my BIG foster brother Tux and wrestling Murphy.

Since arriving at SCKR, I have come a long way. When I first got here, I was very scared, and we all huddled together in the bathroom. Now, I play with more confidence, and my foster mom can pet me. I enjoy rubbing against her and climbing into her lap while I purr. Although I still get nervous and shy at times, I know that with the right family, I will thrive.
I have the appearance of a tabico, but I may lean more towards being a calico, with a beautiful mix of orange in my coat. I am sweet, love my treats, and enjoy being noticed.
I would do best in a quiet home, preferably with older children, as I can still get startled by sudden movements. That's alright, though—my rough start in life means I will improve with patience, time, and lots of love and reassurance.

My name was given to me because it means 'defender, warrior or even helper of mankind' and I definitely brave, warrior-like and even a little crafty. I had to be because my foster mom's think we had a rough and maybe even traumatic start to life and it will take a special family to allow me time, love and patience so I can be the best kitty ever.
With in a few months I already have come from cowering in a corner to exploring the house, playing, running after a laser pointer, eating treats and becoming more confident and safe. I like being pet but have not progressed to laying on laps...Time will tell especially with the right forever home.

I am a super sweet boy that started out really scared and unsure. It takes time for me to open up and connect but when I do I am so sweet. I follow my one foster mom around and rub up against her legs, I found I like being pet and even being cuddled and kissed. I play in the teenage room and get to go out on to the catio and even get to sleepover sometimes in the teenager room with the bigger boys. Plus my foster mom is on their so I get to sneak in a snuggle.
I don't like hectic or chaotic environments but like having feline friends or maybe one of my sister's.
All I need is a second chance!

My 3 siblings and I were rescued by a nice family that took us in temporarily, helped get us spayed and neutered, and then reached out to find a rescue to help socialize us, provide additional care and build our confidence and feel safer around people and an in-home environment.
I am a really pretty beige, brown, orange tabby mix, almost like my sister Stella who looks like a Tabico.
I have come such a long way in a just a few months. I have discovered being around lots of other cats but don't like crowding. I like being pet and playing and running around. My foster moms say I can be a little spicey at times, which young lady isn't? But that is because i am still cautious and learning to trust more.
I really am trying hard and want my second chance to find my forever home, maybe even with my sibling. My foster moms are figuring out who I am more bonded or drawn to.

The truth is, we were plucked from the woman's neighborhood as older feral kittens, and brought to SCKR without full disclosure. Our foster mom's have been working on our trust issues for a few months and we have come a long way, but we need & deserve one on one attention in a home with no other animals.
We will lay at the end of the bed, or even near your knees, come up close for food & lick treats off your finger. We love to talk to you & play together. We also were just recently neutered to see if our hormones would calm down a bit. This doesn't happen immediately, but already our rescue moms are seeing a difference.
Second Chance Kitten Rescue is looking for a special person, with no other pets to Foster both Chimi & Chewy, together to help work on their socialization & trust issues. They are both very sweet, have the kindest eyes, are not fractious, have never bitten or attempted to bite. They just need a lot of confidence building from their scary time on the streets all alone with their sister at a very young age.
If you think you would be a perfect foster for both boys or if you have always wanted the challenge of adoption a younger cat who deserve a Second Chance, please call us to discuss these two options.
My adoption fee TBD.

I was taken in by a lovely, caring lady who gave me a warm place to have my kittens but needed a rescue or foster with the right wellness plans to help me and my kittens thrive. I was worried cos 1 of my babies was a little sick and SCKR had all the right stuff to help me and my littles.
I am small in size and have a shiny black coat with huge yellow eyes and I love to talk and get attention. My foster moms tell me all the time that I am such a good momma and have a wonderful nature. My kittens are now exploring the kitten room so that means I get to venture out in to other parts of the house and meet other cats.
I am slowly weaning my kittens and will be looking for my forever home and hope that I get all the love and attention I deserve cos little kittens often still the show.
Please come visit me and see for yourself.

Mama Elfie and her sister Glenda were abandoned when their family moved away a few months ago. A kind citizen, Sara, started feeing the girls and quickly realized they were pregnant. She reached out to SCKR and we stepped in to help. While Sara fosters them for SCKR for the first 5 weeks, we are paying for all of their medical care & food expenses. Once weaned, Sara & her family graciously decided to keep both mama cats and give them a furever home. This was the best news ever to hear!
After April 19th, the kittens will be available to visit and reserve. They will not be allowed to go to their furever homes until they reach about 3 months of age.
Please do not message, asking for additional photos or information. We will update the one and only image Go Daddy allows us on this page, as they get older. We will also update their sex when they are old enough to properly determine this.
Pet Finder allows multiple images, so eventually individual images will be posted on Pet Finder, once the kittens are available for reservation.
Stay tuned for more to come regarding Mama Elfie and her 5 new babies!

Mama Glinda and her sister Elfie were abandoned when their family moved away a few months ago. We could not have asked for a better outcome for these to girls.
Stay tuned for more to come regarding Mama Glinda and her 6 new babies!

SCKR only takes in kittens 3 months of age or younger, that are already socialized. Meaning, you must be able to hold and engage with them. Their size, weight & teeth will tell us their age, so please be honest. We will exam the kitten before accepting it into our rescue, so honesty is the best policy. As much as we wish we could be, we are not a rehabilitation center for feral cats. Select the "Intake" drop down for additional information.
