Romeo, Romeo. Where for art thou Romeo?

I had a really traumatic start to my little life. A good samaritan, Monice,  found me in the middle of the road, very sick with an upper respiratory infection that was left untreated as I roamed around all alone unable to see. My foster mom's got me and believed in me, round the clock care and love and with my mighty determination that I would pull through.

My right eye was really bad and sore and caused my cornea to rupture, so surgery was my best chance. Thanks moms for making it happen!!

My stitches are now out and my other eye is good, so I can run, play and snuggle. I love love love to snuggle and sleep with you at night!

My foster mom's say I am truly the sweetest boy in the whole wide world. I have the softest coat and still handsome as can be with my one eye. 

Maybe one day I will have a forever home and find my Juliet, lol. I plan to stay with my step brother Uzi. We pal around every day, are best friends and bonded.

I was born around 7/9/24, and will be neutered after I am 5-6 months old (its healthier for me at this age), but don't worry, SCKR pays for it and my Veterinarian, Dr. Wood at The Scaredy Cat Hospital will take good care of me for that procedure.

My ideal home will be with one of my friends. I will need a young & energetic companion.  Preferably with Uzi, my very best friend in the whole wide world! 

Diagnosis: Mega Colon which has been stabilized with inexpensive medicine given twice a day. For that special person who is willing to offer a special needs baby a Furever home, we offer you a 14 day trial period with Uzi and Romeo to see if you are able to easily care for Uzi's medications. If not, the boys will be returned to SCKR & your money will be refunded. Special Need kitty are so rewarding, if given the chance.

I truly am the sweetest boy! I love hugs and actually give hugs and purr up a storm. I have lots of energy when I run and play but can slow down for nap time and cuddles too. I love my foster brother Romeo, he is my best friend and we both know what it is like to be different BUT with so much love to give.

Hello world! 

My new name is Rosie because I am as sweet and pretty as a rose. My foster mom's took me in when I was abandoned at an industrial complex, pregnant, and didn't  have a safe place to have my babies in the Arizona heat. Thank goodness some office girls noticed me, provided food and water and found SCKR to save our lives.

I had 5 beautiful kittens on 9/4/24 and my foster mom's say I am a super good mom. I am sweet, very talkative and have the biggest yellow eyes and ears!!

Since my babies are weaned, I too hope to find my forever home where I will be loved, cuddled and spoiled, and never abandoned on the streets again. I think I deserve that, don't you?

Hi there, I'm Sprocket! 

I'm a little boy kitten who IS full of life and love. I'm a curious little soul, always exploring and trying to understand the world around me. I'm sweet and gentle, always ready for a cuddle or a playful game. I'm also pretty smart, if I do say so myself. I'm brave and energetic, ready to take on any adventure that comes my way. And did I mention I'm funny? I'll keep you laughing with my silly antics.

Hello, I'm Cricket! 

I was born on 9/4/2024.

I'm a kitten with a knack for adventure. My curiosity once led me into a pickle jar, and that's how I ended up here. Don't worry, I wasn't in a pickle, just stuck in a jar! LOL 

Now, I'm a shelter superstar. I'm sweet, curious, mellow, and did I mention hilarious? I've got energy to burn and love to play, but I'm also a cuddle champion. I'm smart too, I've learned to avoid jars, and I'm working on mastering the art of the purfect nap. 

If you're looking for a friendly, funny, and gentle companion, I'm your girl. Adopt me and a buddy so we can create our own comedic tales!

Being two full time working women managing an in home rescue with extremely limited time, we are quite a bit behind with descriptions and images.  We currently have 25 kittens available to be adopted or reserved. 

Because caring for babies this young is very time consuming, taking about 3 hours per person, in the morning and 3 more per person in the evening, we are in desperate need of volunteers to assist us with grants, photography, website updates, fundraisers, etc. If this is something you think you can help us with, please reach out for further discussion and ask for Lisa at 480-382-4578.
